About Diane

Friends and colleagues describe Diane as happy, bubbly, positive, trustworthy and inspiring.

Diane worked in the Financial Services industry shaping and delivering transformational business change programmes incorporating cultural change, new business processes and technologies. She left what was a well-established career at the end of 2014 after opting for voluntary redundancy. Like many, Diane was looking to get out of the rat race, simplify her life and do what really makes her happy.

For over 16 years, Diane supported her parents as her mum was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease aged just 54. The journey was been challenging, scary and relentless. Diane experienced the good, the bad and the very ugly times and remain passionate about ensuring the learnings from her experience are transformed into positive improvements for those that may follow caring for loved ones.

Diane is an Independent Funeral Celebrant supporting families across Central Scotland. She was an active member of the National Dementia Carers Action Network and went on to become a Non-Executive Director and the Honorary Secretary at Alzheimer Scotland. She volunteered for the organisation from 2011 stepping away in 2021 to take more time for her own family.

In her spare time, Diane loves to cook and spend time working on and driving her little classic car in the beautiful Scottish countryside.

Diane is a loyal, caring, trustworthy people person. She cares and thrives on supporting people through change in their personal lives, in sports and in their careers.
